@Dagashi6669 Depends on the case. Looking at the damage, I’d say Dave’s case didn’t support? the neck well enough, but even then, you’d have to throw it gooood to break it like that.

@Lumitext United Airliunes comes from an era when flight was a new thing. They knew what they were doing, and USED to have great customer service. Then corperate American buisness philosophy made its way into the company? and they became crappy airline with bad customer service. I hope for their sake that they get it together and make an airline that actually cares like they used to. I flew through IAD recently and most of the employees were great, I hope people everywhere else follow suit.

It’s a shame that this happens, because all it takes is to be gentle with the luggage. I see them throwing suitcases? through the air onto the baggage trucks. Would it take that much more time to set them down gently?
