Actually this song wasn’t orginally on the “Ringo” album. The single of “It Don’t Come Easy” was released in ’71 (and not included on any album at the time) and the “Ringo” album was released in ’73. It was included on the cd version of thealbum years later as a bonus track, along with it’s b-side of “Early 1970″.

Actually, Ringo had over a dozen solo hits; more than McCartney; when you consider most of those were with Wings.
