Otis Redding-Pain in My Heart
Pain in my heart she’s treating me cold where can my baby be Lord no one knows. Pain in my heart just won’t let me sleep where can my baby be Lord where can she be Another day, as again it is though I want you to come back, come back, come back, baby, ’till I get enough A little pain in my heart just won’t let me be wake up at restless nights Lord and I can’t even sleep Stop this little pain in my heart Another day as again it’s rough I want you to love me, love me, love me, baby, ’till I get enough Pain in my heart, a little pain in my heart stop this little pain in my heart stop this little pain in my heart someone stop this pain someone stop this pain

@Mrwest717 But you have to admit, the old-skool hiphop like The Sugarhill Gang, and Young MC are great, but yeah the new generation of Rap-music is crap

Thank you bettyd1954 so much for all of these songs. This playlist in general. Its a wonderful godsend and one regret is that me being 17 years old and a young musician, I wish I could have played in Otis’s backing band. RIP Otis.

@TheEvilflea … This is something different. I raised up listening to soul funk tunes but also the prime hip-hop. Hip-hop can be regarded as complementary to the mainstream music. It is not a sound not music. One of a very good example is Public enemy. They indroduce the meaning of aggressive hip-hop (rap). IT IS A PROTEST with political, racial and cultural extentions.Nevertheless they are sound better than some newer rap stars who are talking bullshit! and they sound even more bullshit.!!

@Mrwest717 Go kill yourself. All rap music aint bad and mindless just like all oldies arent good and soulfull if your not into hip hop and all you know is the mainstream driven music on the radio then you have no reason to judge. there is alot of MC who take pride in their craft and put out as much pain love and emotion as any ottis or oldie song out there. listen more before you diss a whole genre of music

Guys I’m white but I feel very sad the new gen of blacks they don’t know maybe the best black artist of soul. He is the real king. Mr Ottis sing up in the heaven.

I love the Blues i love Soul i love Rap i love some Country I DO NOT DISCRIMINATE. I don’t think you have to hate or put down one genre of music just to love another. That’s the beauty of diversity!
