@verdecolor6 Oh – btw – flamenco is by no measure “ancient” but very much modern
) if compared with classical or baroque repertoire.
August 5, 2011 - 1:31 am
you faking that accent bro? Sometimes I hear you speak and there’s no accent and then it comes right back.
August 5, 2011 - 1:44 am
Amazing playing. I truly wish I could play like that. Wow.
Yo!
August 5, 2011 - 1:53 am
@connerungarpvcs he playing flamenco so if you have long nails its less friction on your hands and sounds better..
August 5, 2011 - 2:19 am

August 5, 2011 - 2:23 am
what a spaz and look at his long ass fingernails fuckin cokehead
August 5, 2011 - 3:09 am
@jloutzification What have I done to deserve such resentment? lol. I can tell you haven’t taken that chill pill. Look, he only has a capo on his guitar during the demonstration bit at the beginning. The bit where we’re supposed to play along he doesn’t have a capo on and his tuning is sharp. It means everyone has to re-tune to his out of tune-ness in order to play along and then re-re-tune as soon as they want to move on to something else. That’s all I was saying.
August 5, 2011 - 3:24 am
@cleaningagent101 He’s got a capo on the second fret! Maybe you missed that?
August 5, 2011 - 3:27 am
in spanish plisss
:):) ????
August 5, 2011 - 4:25 am
@jloutzification hahaha wow harsh. I just meant he hasn’t tuned his guitar properly lol. If you don’t believe me tune your guitar to standard tuning and then try and play along with him. take a chill pill while you’re at it haha
August 5, 2011 - 5:05 am
@cleaningagent101 It’s called phrygian dominant and if you don’t have an ear for it than go back to listening to western pop. But please don’t confuse your uncultured ear for legitimate criticism.
August 5, 2011 - 5:42 am
@RealGuitarules Do NOT presume to tell Mr. Del Monte what the “most important thing about spanish music is!” – this is a critically aclaimed world-class artist with a bona-fide flamenco pedigree (does the name Pepe Habichuela ring a bell with you?)
Furthermore this Bulerias is perfectly in compas. There are alot of upbeats and syncopations which makes it a challenge to count, and perhaps he rushes just a small bit at around 0:30, but other than that, I can count it straight through.
August 5, 2011 - 6:11 am
First of all, I really take my hat off and salute you Adam because of your deeply natural words about such an ancient art as flamenco is. I’m from Madrid, and love flamenco since I heard Camarón (“Rosa María” ohhh), down in the late 90′s.
Anyway, thank you maestro por tus buenas palabras, tu entendimiento del arte y su historia, el toque precioso y sentido y el corazón que le pones a tus videos.
oleee y oleee
un abrazo
