what is The name Of Your Guitar?
April 8, 2010 - 11:50 am
Sounds nice – lemme guess – Again by Lenny Kravitz.
April 8, 2010 - 12:22 pm
The name of the third chord is what we call an “ambi” chord (ambiguous). It can be called by a couple of different names.
Gmaj7(13)(omit 3rd)
Emin9(omit 5th) over D bass
Some people hear a Dmaj(add9)(11)
All of these chord names come from the G diatonic “major” scale so it really depends on how you use the chord in a song as to what name is best.
