Also string bends are essential for blues guitar so get good at that

Learn the pentatonic scale and get really comfortable with it and the bends involved.
Then start experimenting with patterns (licks) on the scale.
It’s not a difficult style technically, its about feel.

Practice Practice Practice most music shops will have a learning book in there but ya prob looking at $30 to $70 for one i started of by downloading tabliture of the net and llearning to play that way

Drink lots of whiskey and smoke lots of fags.
Seriously, if you already have the basic ‘building blocks’ of the style, then the rest is experience. Listen to all the great players and copy them.
