@RebelThoughts They were 10 or 11 years different. If I recall correctly, SRV did a version of Red House when he was 16 or 17 (the same year Jimi died, 70 or 71) and Jimi was quoted as saying that SRV was going to be the one to “carry the torch”. I may be a little wrong, but that’s what I remember ;~)
