@llS2639ll I for one hate the feel and sound of it, but many people disagree. With music do what’s comfortable and sounds good to you, just keep your ears open and you can do anything :]

damn four string bass looks so damn small im used to like 7 strings shit lol
August 29, 2010 - 9:34 pm
@pulgo09 ?? the bass usually doesn’t use chords. only in certain instances and cases like in funk or jazz it’s more used than any other genre. 21 guns is only about like 2 strings i think. i’ll see what i can do for you bud.
August 29, 2010 - 10:22 pm
@llS2639ll nope.. not really. Some people always play with a pick.

August 30, 2010 - 2:18 am
@KenBernaerts no its good practise to use the pinky, when you get onto higher levels of playing your life is a hell of a lot easier if you can use your pinky aswell as the other 3 fingers
August 30, 2010 - 2:35 am
@MonkeyManBlues You’re right, he’s not doing the Blues, relative or minor pentatonic scale. The major and parallel pentatonic scales basically (I explain it this way for expedience purposes) use the Root, 2,3,5,and 6 of the Ionian and Dorian respectively, but the Blues pentatonic (parent scale of the Blues scale) omits the 4th degree of the basic Blues scale.
August 30, 2010 - 3:28 am
That’s not a Pentatonic Blues Scale. You’re simply doing a blues shuffle on the 7ths. G7 C7 and D7 with a IV to V chromatic turnaround. Pentatonic scales are the I, II, III, V, & VI scale degrees. BIG difference.
August 30, 2010 - 4:21 am

August 30, 2010 - 7:17 am
You should of positioned the text boxes somewhere where it doesn’t impair what people are trying to see you do.
August 30, 2010 - 7:25 am
@KenBernaerts Music doesn’t care what finger you use.
August 30, 2010 - 7:35 am
